Chad Carpenter
I am a seasoned event and logistics professional with over two decades of experience leading high-impact events across academic, performing arts, and community sectors. My career has been defined by a passion for creating seamless, engaging experiences and a talent for managing complex logistics with precision and creativity. As Conference Services Manager at the University of Washington Tacoma and former Event and Operations Director at The Washington Center for the Performing Arts, I have led the planning and execution of hundreds of events annually—ranging from academic conferences to large-scale public performances—while fostering strong relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners.
My leadership style is rooted in collaboration, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of operational efficiency. I’ve developed and implemented comprehensive event policies, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and led cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. I bring a unique blend of technical acumen and people-centered leadership, having overseen everything from contract negotiation and vendor coordination to emergency planning and technology integration. My expertise spans a wide array of platforms including 25Live, AllSeated, Whova, and VenueOps, enabling me to streamline processes and enhance the attendee experience.
Beyond logistics, I am deeply committed to community engagement and volunteer leadership, serving on advisory boards and civic committees that promote tourism, safety, and the arts. Whether managing a city-sponsored arts walk or training tourism ambassadors, I thrive in roles that connect people and purpose through well-executed events. I am driven by results, inspired by collaboration, and always ready to lead the next great event.
